I loved reading about your design process, and Twist's editing process. No wonder Twist is The highest quality knitting 'zine OR mag!

Very nice Tutorial. The cutting of the fabric and sorting it thread out idea is pretty good. Love the concept. The photo on the top is pretty good.

Hi Christa, I am a new knitter and about to attempt this project (with the help of the Saugeen Shores, Ontario Knitting Group). Several of the members in our group have completed this project using the Koigu yarn and it really is yummy! I now feel wrothy enough to treat myself to some Koigu and try out your wonderful creation. February 2009 is when I started and my Mentors in the group have now introduced me to your project as well as Koigu.....they really have created a Yarn Monster. See you soon Koigu boy! I like your ads and your suggestions. I do some advertising for my volunteer work and would like to ramp it up a bit. One suggestion in your banner ad: If you have other patterns, I wouldn't show two hats. You're more versatile than that and may not want to be pegged as the hat designer. Well done.

I love the Heartbeat hat - excellent! I've been having some surprising success with a 'mysterious ad' that I placed with only the word, "Confess..." in script font. It links to my book, Confessions Of a Knitting Heretic, and the sales have been positively affected by this ad. Odd, huh?

I really like the colour combination for the shawl. I also like the name you have given to the Koigu section of the store. "The Wall of Glory". It really makes me feel good to know that people like you take such "Glory" in our yarn. We have a lot of fun dyeing it and when I read things like this and see creations such as yours it makes it that much better. So, what's the next project. Do tell. I'll be watching.

Sounds like a foreign language, all right - and ditto on the be-ready and be-ready-to-discuss comments, and the synch-think stuff too!. This thing looks like it takes up slightly less space than a grand piano - and is just as challenging to play - have fun with it!

Re-format -- but get someone else to do it. You can't tell me you can't find a knitter who is a graphic designer (or thereabouts) who wouldn't do the work in exchange for whatever else strikes both your fancies -- stash exchange, paying in patterns, commission knitting, whatever!
