Yes, I'm having a great time working with Twist (though I'm also enjoying dealing with other publications, too!). Hope you enjoy knitting Piper, I'd love to see your finished project :)

Christa

Re: Piper is published in Twist Collective Fall 2009!!

I loved reading about your design process, and Twist's editing process. Koigu rocks, and I'm sure you'll have a blast working with it... Tell your group members that I'd love to see their finished projects on Ravelry (if they aren't already posted) or photos online or sent via email :)

Re: Colourflow Wrap & Tutorial

Hi Christa, I am a new knitter and about to attempt this project (with the help of the Saugeen Shores, Ontario Knitting Group). Several of the members in our group have completed this project using the Koigu yarn and it really is yummy! I now feel wrothy enough to treat myself to some Koigu and try out your wonderful creation. February 2009 is when I started and my Mentors in the group have now introduced me to your project as well as Koigu.....they really have created a Yarn Monster. See you soon Koigu boy! Thanks for your inspiration, Christa.

Cheers,
Carla-Colour

Re: Piper is published in Twist Collective Fall 2009!!

Excellent hat, I like the fact that is doesn't look like every other hat out there!

Re: Piper is published in Twist Collective Fall 2009!!

VERY cool! I do some advertising for my volunteer work and would like to ramp it up a bit. One suggestion in your banner ad: If you have other patterns, I wouldn't show two hats. You're more versatile than that and may not want to be pegged as the hat designer. Well done.

Re: Colourflow Wrap & Tutorial

This is beautiful!

Re: What’s in a tagline?

I love the Heartbeat hat - excellent! I've been having some surprising success with a 'mysterious ad' that I placed with only the word, "Confess..." in script font. It links to my book, Confessions Of a Knitting Heretic, and the sales have been positively affected by this ad. Odd, huh?

Re: Colourflow Wrap & Tutorial

Hi Christa,

I really like the colour combination for the shawl. I also like the name you have given to the Koigu section of the store. "The Wall of Glory". It really makes me feel good to know that people like you take such "Glory" in our yarn. We have a lot of fun dyeing it and when I read things like this and see creations such as yours it makes it that much better. So, what's the next project. Do tell. I'll be watching.

Cheers,
Rhichard Devrieze aka Koigu boy
www.thehappydyer.blogspot.com

Re: Weekend Weaving Warrior

girl... is this a rented loom? are you still workin on it... mainly, can i come see some time????
erica.

Re: Colourflow Wrap & Tutorial

(um, and not to mention the cute girl in the photo!)

Re: Colourflow Wrap & Tutorial

totally drooling over the koigu wrappy wonderfulness!

Re: Colourflow Wrap & Tutorial

Christa, that is really gorgeous! You can't tell me you can't find a knitter who is a graphic designer (or thereabouts) who wouldn't do the work in exchange for whatever else strikes both your fancies -- stash exchange, paying in patterns, commission knitting, whatever!

Re: Veronique: casting on seamless centre-out tutorial

Yow!
